It’s taken a while but it is finally here. My Dad ordered his car a good 5 months ago and, after a couple of hiccups it was sitting proudly in our driveway a couple of weeks ago.

The funny thing was that it wasn’t actually the car that he ordered. It happened that the wrong car was delivered to someone else and that it fitted the specification that my Dad’s car was meant to have so we got it instead – quite a turn of luck if you ask me.

For approximately 7 weeks of the year Britain is bombarded with ‘severe weather warnings’ issued by the met office. They advise you to ‘take extreme caution while driving’ and to ‘not leave the house unless absolutely essential’. We fear the worst, every year.
