ALFA ROMEO MITO 1.4 TB 155 Veloce 3dr (2009)
I like my Mito that much, I've ordered another!
This I have to say is probably the best car I’ve been fortunate enough to own. I’ve enjoyed owning and driving it for the last two years that much that I’ve decided to have another one. My new Mito is very close to being delivered!
If you’re looking for a hatch that competes in many categories with so many other small hatchbacks on the market, then my advice is look no further. I swapped my Mini Cooper for the Mito and I haven’t looked back. The Mito is fun to drive, feels solid and holds the road really well. I went for the 1.4TB 155bhp Veloce which offers a reasonably high level of trim and gadgets, (including Blue&Me allowing me to use my mobile phone hands free).
One particular feature that has really impressed me was the All Weather mode on the DNA switch. The DNA switch allows you to change the dynamics of the car between Dynamic, Normal and All Weather mode. This alters the characteristics of the car and the way it handles and performs in certain conditions. Given we recently had another bad spell of snow and ice, I was worried like so many others about getting from A-Z in my car. The Mito in the All Weather mode coped exceptionally well and I felt really safe driving on some pretty treacherous roads.
Having looked around again at alternatives, now I’m due to change my car, I still can’t find anything that comes close when you take everything into account. This really is a ‘super’ mini with beautiful styling and a classy, sporty edge that’s reasonably economical and a pure joy to drive. I can't wait to take delivery of my new one. I'm upgrading to the Mito Cloverleaf which I'm sure I'm going to love even more.
