ASTON MARTIN DB9 V12 2dr Volante [470] (2008)

There's a reason the Top Gear lot drool at this machine!

The wife wasn't all that impressed when I brought my Aston Martin DB9 home, but she's got her Chelsea Tractor, this is my toy. And what a toy! I'm honestly not all that up to speed (see what I did there?) with the technical specs but it drives like an absolute monster.

The handling is sound, and the ride is comfortable (adjustable suspension), and it gets 0-60mph in 4.8 seconds, wahoo!! I suppose 18 miles a gallon is a bit silly, but you get what you pay for and this thing is worth every penny.

I should say, it can be a little bit shaky on the corners sometimes, and I have heard other people say they had a lot more technical faults than I have. Also on the down side, the two 'rear seats' are a bit of an in-joke, but there's space in the car for two people and their golf clubs. Not really a family car, but for an electrifying weekend runaround, look no further.
