BMW M3 M3 4dr (2008)

The BMW M3 willl turn you into a BMW driver!

I am aware that the BMW M3 has a very bad reputation, and I've been angry with enough BMW drivers in my time to realise that this reputation is partially justified. But there is a reason why the people who own one of these cars feel like they own the road - the BMW M3 makes them feel this way!

Step inside and you'll see what I mean. It oozes quality and refinement. Start the engine and you'll instantly be transformed into a 'BMW driver'. It can easily reach 60 in less than 5 seconds and you'll be extremely tempted to try and make it do so, even in the most inappropriate of settings (don't!). The handling is simply gorgeous, the best I've ever experienced in any car.

Little touches like damper control and the engine growl help the M3 to become one of Europe's greatest motors. However it's not the most practical of cars. Drive conservatively and you will keep the mpg in double figures, but it can sometimes slip really very low. And of course, in terms of the buying price, quality does not come cheap.
