BMW M5 - 500bhp - need I say more?

While the new M5 will be coming out in November and will feature a new 4.4-litre V8, i thought I'd share my experiences of my old M5 that had a V10 engine. Inspired by F1, the V10 engine had 510bhp and more torque than the sun. It looked and sounded like a wounded Tiger, it was as quick as anything I've ever dreamt about and as impressive as Trish Stratus in the late 1990's.

All you need to know about the M5 is that it delivers everything it promises. You don't care about practicality, mpg or residuals, all you care about is how powerful it is, how quick it is and how many women you can pull. It is THE machine for all of the above.

500bhp will take you to new levels of snobbery but it will also take you to beating 911s and Evos without many issues. It's just the best car I ever owned - and it beats the pants off my current car, a 4x4 X5.
