CATERHAM 21 1.8 GTO 2dr (2001)

Caterham 21 - Powerful on Track Days Only

Caterham are a company famous for their track day cars. My Caterham 21 is road legal but I rarely use it for nipping to the shops; 1. because i look like a tit. 2. because it's uncomfortable and 3. because I look like a tit.

This car, really, is a track car. It thrives off being thrashed round a track and that's exactly what I use it for. The semi-slick tyres I use are superb, it grips like nothing else and feels nimble around the tighest of hairpins. I'd say that the brakes can be a little wooden but what do you want for such a cheap track weapon?

You can spend a lot of money on track day cars. The Caterham, however, is a cheap way of getting into the scene. If you don't care about LSDs and Wavetraks, just buy one of these and enjoy it.!!
