CHRYSLER SEBRING 2.0 CRD Limited 4dr (2007)

Chrysler Sebring - Disappointing, but gorgeous.

I bought my Chrysler Sebring because I wanted a family car that made me look respectable. And it really does look pretty great - powerful and intimidating, like a Mercedes but with more of a 'Wall Street' feel about it. Unfortunately looks are about all that the Sebring has going for it.

I bought the entry-level (cheapest) model, which is a 2.0l engine that puts out about 150bhp. This sounds pretty good on paper but in reality it really seems to struggle to get up to any decent sort of speed. The list price is surprisingly low, though, considering how expensive it looks. This is the main thing for me, though - speed. I really expected something more powerful.

Along with shoddy handling, and pretty poor fuel consumption, I would say that the Chrysler Sebring is a disappointing drive. However, if you're not really concerned with these things then you might well find that the Chrysler Sebring is up your street - it is well built, and looks beautiful, after all.
