CITROEN C4 GRAND PICASSO 1.6HDi 16V SX 5dr (2007)
Ok so far, although we've only had it about three months (second hand)
We bought our C4 1.6 HDi Grand Picasso in preparation for our fourth baby arriving in the autumn. It was second hand, and from the looks of the paperwork it had quite a bit of stuff done inside the warranty but it looked like things that were just wrong to start with, like design problems, and were just rectified and shouldn't be a problem anymore, like software upgrades (who knew cars had software!) Anyway, our Citroen C4 Grand Picasso so far behaving well.
Driving the Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, it's fine really. Nice and quiet for one thing, that was a difference over our last car. It's got quite a bit of space all in all, although the third row of seats, the ones that open up in the boot, are only really good for the kids, you wouldn't want adult passengers back there.
It's good that you do still get a boot there even with those seats popped up. The boot is still big enough for a weekly shop, which was what we were really after. We should be able to get the two prams onto one of the back seats, and still have room for four littluns!
Up front it's lovely and spacious, and lots of little cubby holes for keeping things too. The display is really really nice and big and clear. I didn't think I'd like a digital display like this, but it's really good, and I was also worried that it might be outshone by the sun if it was shining right on it, but that hasn't happened either.
The other amazing thing is the mileage it gets, easily 50 miles a gallon. No idea how for such a big car, but it really won us over.
