CITROEN XM 2.0 Si 5dr (1989)

The Citroen XM has been pretty good to me.

I really liked the way the Citroen XM looked when I bought it in the nineties but to be fair it looks fairly ridiculous now. Very strange slopey bonnet and thin headlights which don't look quite right. But I've had the car 15 years so I can hardly start complaining about it now.

The main appeal for me is that it is comfortable and practical, with spacious seats in the front and back and a decent-sized boot. I've had my share of problems with it, but I think it's been pretty good over the amount of time I've had it. It's fairly fuel efficient (I can get maybe 40mpg), and actually more powerful than you might think.

If you are planning to buy a Citroen XM then you'll get a very good price, but I have had problems with a few things that you might want to look out for: clutch issues, electrics problems, aircon and ABS. But overall I'd say this car has been pretty good to me.
