FERRARI 599 GTB Fiorano 2dr (2006)

Ferrari 599 - The history of motoring was a lead-up to this car.

I had to buy the Ferrari 599 because I have to have the best cars around. And the 599 is the absolute pinnacle of my collection. It has a top speed of 209mph, and yes, I have got it up to nearly this speed (in strictly controlled conditions of course) and it's an incredible feeling.

The Ferrari 599 is unbelievably well constructed and has more refinement than any other car I've ever driven. The handling is second-to-none: this car will do whatever you ask it to. Even a monkey could drive it. You can tear it round hairpin bends or wind it around country lanes even at a decent speed without any physical effort. It's also more practical than you might expect and functions pretty well as my 'everyday' car. But obviously I don't like parking it just anywhere.

Running costs are of course astronomical, but I think it's fair to say that if that's an issue for you it would be very foolish to even consider buying a Ferrari 599. If you're prepared to spend nearly two hundred grand on a car, though, let it be this one. You won't regret it.
