The Fiat Regatta - my lifesaver!

The Fiat Regatta is one of my favourite cars of all time, actually, not least because I happen to think that it saved my life. Well, not really, I suppose, but had I been driving a lesser car when some idiot slammed into my bonnet at 50mph I probably wouldn't be writing this review now.

Yes, the car is built like a big old pile of bricks and I am eternally grateful to it for that. Other than that it was also very reliable to me, I had to do a bit of work on it, the gasket leaked at one point and the ignition went, but this was all after considerable mileage.

My Fiat Regatta performed well, handled beautifully, did everything I wanted it to and at a reasonable price, too. I only wish I were still driving around in it now, to be honest, but there you go. You have to let these things go eventually.
