HONDA NSX 3.0 V6 2dr (1990)

The Honda NSX - a useful super car.

I bought the Honda NSX a long time ago when I was completely in love with all things Japanese and had too much money to hand. A Japanese super car was a very rare thing in those days (I suppose it still is) and I jumped at the chance to get my hands on one. It was my first super car and not my last, but it will always be one of the best cars I ever owned.

The first thing you'll notice if you get a NSX (the old models, like mine, are becoming quite popular these days and I'm waiting for the right moment to sell) is that despite being terribly fast, vulgar and noisy like any respectable super car, it's also quite sensible. Honda obviously put some effort into making the NSX reliable and reasonably fuel efficient and it's really paid off.

The car is, of course, sleek, fast and amazing fun to drive. However, on having owned other super cars subsequent to this one, I've now learned that the handling leaves much to be desired. But if you want a super car that also doubles up as a car that you can, you know, use as a viable method of transport, the Honda NSX is for you.
