Range Rovers don't really need any introduction, do they? We all know what they're about; we all know how good they are. They've been the daddy of a 4x4 for decades and despite BMW's best efforts, it hasn't been beaten yet.

I bought one as a treat as I was given a pay-raise at work, so now Im the proud owner of an 04 Range. Everything about this car screams money. It's as comfortable as anything I've ever been in, as well made as anything I've ever been in and as bad on fuel as anything I've ever been in.

The fuel gauge does drop quite rapidly, and it's a shame, but apart from that I can't really fault it. There's plenty of lovely leather, lots of switches and wood; it just feels nice.

The boot is literally the size of a small elephant and has the load capacity of a small bus. If you've got a big family, the Range will be perfect!!

It's a great car, and I just hope I don't have to get rid of it one day.
