LOTUS ELISE Elise 111R 2dr (2004)

2005 Lotus Elise - Unreliable but fun

Lotus has a reputation for building quite unreliable cars, and as much as I'd like to dub that as rubbish, I can't. My 111R has been an unreliable car, but despite this, I still love it.

I love it because when it does come on song, there's nothing better. It's seriously one of the best cars on the planet and when you're nailing it down a country road, you just know you've picked the right car.

Without sounding big headed, myself and my partner aren't short of money, so we're not too bothered about the running costs. But thanks to the 1.8-litre Toyota engine, they're not that bad.

It's the least practical car in the world, as there's no boot and no room inside, but if you want a car you can show off to your mates, then this is the one for you.
