A great drive in the Elise Sport!

How do I sum the superb Lotus Elise up in one word? Perfect? No. Perhaps that's a bit OTT, but it isn't far off. For anyone who is worried about buying an Elise due to the infamous reliability issues, then take it from me, it's not as bad as people make out.

Sure, there have been times when it's broken down, but nothing major. Most of the time it's just a pleasure to drive. With a powerful engine and ridiculously low kerb weight, the Elise manages to feel considerably faster than it actually is.

You'll feel exhilerated, adrenaline-filled and emotional after your first drive; it really is the business. Just make sure you have enough money to fill up the tank, because you'll be doing it a lot!
