MERCEDES-BENZ CLS CLS350 4dr Tip Auto (2005)
Top draw executive car
I had the Mercedes CLS350 for 12 months back in 2006 and it was a beautiful bit of machinery. In my eyes it is a practical 4Dr Coupe. I went with the added extra of the AMG body styling kit which in my opinion made all the difference as the standard car can look a little boring. If looks aren't your thing, then this option can be left as it cost in the region of £2500.
The car i had was Black in colour and had black leather interior which is a good combination to get for re-sale value. The CLS350 was so comfy it's hard to put into words so, if you do a lot of motorway miles this car is for you. The performance was pretty sharp for a big car and the Mercedes CLS350 had a "Sport" button which had a noticeable difference when turned on. The running costs were, as expected, good value and a full service at a main dealer set me back roughly £225. I would definitely advise keeping your car serviced as it adds value onto the car when coming to sell on.
Another tip of advice is to go for electric and heated seats as these do come in handy. Beware this car only has 4 seats so for a family of 5 this car wouldn't be an option. The boot space is not bad, for a 4Dr Coupe, and the new shape is an improvement on the 2006 model but whatever your budget the CLS350 is a cracking car.
