NISSAN SERENA 2.0 D SLX 5dr (1993)

NIssan Serena - Practical but unappealing

I was looking for a people carrier for ages and I really couldn't settle on one. I was buying it for my rest home so I need to 'carry' quite a few 'people'. So eventually I saw a Nissan Serena and I thought 'wow'! This was clearly the car for me. I've always enjoyed a good Nissan anyway.

I was maybe a little bit over-optimistic. Yeah it's reliable like most Nissans, but the handling is pretty hideous and I'm not really satisfied with its performance on the road. Take it on the motorway and it not only feels like it's about to seize up, but also (because it's so tall) about to topple over!

Still, it's comfortable, BIG and it was pretty cheap. And it's cheap to run. And it's comfortable. So that's what I was looking for I guess. I kind of wish I'd invested a bit more money and got something that isn't quite so awful to drive, though.
