The peugeot 308 - a good all-rounder

I had a Peugeot 308 as my company car last year and so I can take quite an objective view of it, but I only had it for a few months. All in all I would say my experience of the Peugeot 308 was a positive one but it's not completely perfect and I've driven better cars.

The best thing is the fuel economy, I could get great mpg in both the city and the countryside, no problems, and normally I tend to drain fuel tanks quicker than most people. It drives very nicely, too, with lovely handling and a very smooth ride. It's very well equipped, too, and seemed pretty reliable for the short time I had it.

The major problem was the driving position, I felt the floor was too high and I couldn't see down far enough, making me feel as though I was on the roof or something. To be honest I never really got over this aspect and it really annoyed me eventually. That's not to say everyone will have this experience, though.
