Rover 620 GSi - A beautiful old banger

I remember when the Rover 600 came out I remember it was kind of a revolution in how cars look. Good times for Rover really even though it was probably the beginning of the end. It was a seriously nice looking motor. Sad then, that the 600 now looks like a clapped out old banger on its last legs.

It may look like a banger but my Rover 600 is actually still doing pretty well. The bodywork seems pretty much impervious to rust. The only long-term problem that I haven't sorted yet is the gears sticking slightly a bit in second and third. Don't think I'll bother fixing this though.

Realistically I know 600 won't last forever but I'll be sad to see it go. For some reason you don't see these cars on the market for very much so I may as well hang on to mine for as long as possible. I can see it falling apart in a couple of years but I think it's got some life in it yet.
