SUZUKI BALENO 1.6 GLX SE 4dr Auto (1998)

Suzuki Baleno - A good all-round family car.

The Suzuki Baleno is a good value car which makes a great alternative to something like a Vauxhall Astra or one of the Ford estates. It's a sensible family car which isn't too big or showy which was quite a surprise from Suzuki at the end.

Inside it's roomy enough and it's comfortable in the driving seat (even for a fairly big bloke like me), you can fit a few kids in the back but shopping in the boot no problems. The Baleno is also a lot better built than most previous Suzuki models and it feels very solid and rigid which in my opinion is essential if you're going to be carting your family around in it.

The handling is a little too sensitive for my tastes and I can't really say much about how powerful it is but that doesn't matter much to me. It's a bit boring but for a cheap (they go pretty cheap these days), solid, very reliable family motor you can't ask for much more.
