Frontera 2.2 DTi - F For Effort

I wanted a 4x4 just for the heck of it and I picked up this Vauxhall Frontera pretty cheap. Really cheap in fact. Unfortunately it is barely worth even the pittance I paid for it. Not bad though if you just fancy a quick jaunt around the countryside.

To be honest though apart from the price the Frontera has very, very little going for it. The ride is bumpy and inconsistent. The boot is big. That's really all I can think of. It's OK off-road but really nothing special.

The worst thing is the on-road driving which it just doesn't do. I just don't understand why it's not better on the road, either motorway or city driving is simply unpleasant. The motor car has been in existence for a long time now. There's really no excuse for this.
