VW Lupo GTi - faster than it looks!

A cool little boxy car that I bought last summer, it's probably faster (nippier is probably a better word) than anything I'd previously owned. The best thing is the six-speed gearbox which really works very well. You find that the gears really work for you and you hardly lose any speed when changing up. So the acceleration feels really impressive and the engine seems pretty powerful. You can take it as far as you want without any real issues

Handling-wise it's pretty good, too - I used to own a VW Golf and I prefer the way the VW Lupo GTi feels. One problem is that I don't find the car all that comfortable. Maybe it's just me but I seem to put my neck out trying to look around properly.

However, I just love the way the VW Lupo looks, outside it looks like some sort of tubby jungle cat and the interiors are colour-coordinated and really quality-looking. I get at least 40mpg out of it, too, which considering I do quite a bit of city driving is alright by me. A really nice car!
