Code of Conduct

As part of our commitment to make www.netcars.com a great place to meet and share information with other web users we’ve created a simple “Code of Conduct” which you agree to abide by. Your approval to the following guidelines will make everyone’s experience on www.netcars.com positive and pleasurable.

  • Netcars reserves the right to terminate your access to any communication service or delete content, without notice, found to be in violation of the code of conduct.

Be Good

  • Please treat all other online users with respect and don’t use netcars.com to threaten, harass, stalk, or abuse other browsers/buyers.
  • Netcars reserves the right to delete content that advocate or encourage expressions of violence, racism, hatred, obscenity, or profanity.
  • Netcars encourages users to use the Forums and Blogs as much as possible. Netcars administrators may, at will and without notice, remove postings or ban participants that violate this code of conduct.
  • Impersonating a Netcars employee, agent, manager, or another user is forbidden.
  • Don’t use Netcars to spam others. Spam includes sending identical and irrelevant submissions to many different users.

The Law

  • Netcars doesn’t allow behaviour or content related to illegal activities. You can’t use Netcars to publish, post, distribute, or disseminate defamatory, infringing, obscene, or other unlawful material or discussion. This includes, but is not limited to, child pornography, bestiality incest, illegal drugs, software piracy, and harassment.
  • You will not use Netcars for the purpose of linking to external sites that violate this code of conduct.
  • Do not upload files or post messages that contain photos, music, software or other material protected by intellectual property laws, rights of privacy or publicity unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all the necessary consents. Netcars is not responsible for any use of material posted by users.
  • Do not post or promote any materials that could harm or disrupt another user's computer.

Be Responsible

  • Netcars is not designed as the primary area to store any materials or work; you are responsible for creating backups of anything uploaded to the Netcars website. Netcars is not responsible for loss of, access to, deletion, alteration, or restoration of any materials.
  • You are responsible for any actions you take based on advice or information you obtain online. Use your own judgment when evaluating information provided via any communication service, and remember that the information displayed may be from people at any age and experience level.

Protect Your Privacy

  • Netcars warn you against giving out any personal information (such as national insurance number, credit card number, name, address, telephone number, passwords, etc.) online. This data can easily be used for illegal or harmful purposes.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your computer/pc against interference or viruses that may be encountered on the Internet. Netcars recommends you install an anti virus program on your computer and keep it up to date.
  • Netcars encourages parents/adults to join their children as they browse the Internet so that parents can be aware of and help exercise control over the material their children encounter.
