02/10/2008
Drivers of new and used Fiestas everywhere may be interested to hear that Ford marked the launch of the latest version of the model with a tango extravaganza at the Tower of London yesterday.
Stunt drivers in two of the first revised vehicles to arrive in the UK performed a unique version of the dance.
Cricketer Mark Ramprakash, a former winner on Strictly Come Dancing, along with tango troupes from across the London was also present.
Meanwhile, the new model hits showrooms across the UK today.
Commenting on the updated version of the vehicle, Ford's chairman and managing director Roelant de Waard said: "We created the new Fiesta with a real passion and we're confident that it's the car the nation is about to fall in love with."
In other news, the manufacturer's Focus and Mondeo models came top of their respective categories in the What Car? used car honours.
