Practical Lambo on the way?

Well, well, well, haven’t times changed? In years gone by all we expected from Lamborghini is brash styling, scissor doors and more power than god, but now it seems Lamborghini wants to grow up a little. The Italian marque, famous for its legendary supercars, wants to build an “everyday car”.

Don’t be fooled, though, this won’t be Lambo’s launch into the hatchback market, but more a car that can compete with Aston Martin’s Rapide and Porsche’s Panamera.   The potential design of such a car would be loosely based on the stunning Estoque concept we saw a few years ago and would share the same platform as the next generation Panamera – we know, it sounds odd, but the VAG group is closely related to Porsche and they like to share.

No word yet on any release date but expect 2013ish.
