VW Golf GTI Edition 35

For all the VW fans out there, a special gift from the Bavarian company is always welcomed, but when it’s a beefed-up version of the standard Golf GTI, that’s when huge anticipation begins. VW has announced a new Edition 35 of the GTI in celebration of the hot hatch’s 35-years in production.

Details reveal an increased power output over the standard with 232bhp and, as if that isn’t enough, VW has said the 2.0-litre engine isn’t an improved GTI engine, but more a de-tuned version of the Golf R’s.
