Caterham R300 Superlight takes on the "Ring"

Driving the Nurburgring is hard enough if you’re in a 1.4-litre Vauxhall Corsa, but for the racing drivers who actually know how to drive, it’s even more of a challenge. They have to get round the fearsome 12.93-mile track in a supercar that could potentially spin out at any corner due to its high power. Scary stuff, indeed.

So when this driver of the Caterham R300 Superlight put this video up of his attempt, we took note. This great video shows the Caterham overtaking Porsches, Corvettes and a whole host of hot hatches whilst it completes a lap in just 8 minutes and 7 seconds.
