Oldest surviving Bentley sells for £600,000

Pebble Beach has become the place to go to find cars that go into the record books, and now the prestigious event can add the oldest surviving Bentley to its large list of successes. The ‘Chassis Number 3’ 3 Litre is 90-years old and as beautiful as any period Bentleys.

Its original owner paid just £1,150 for the beaut, which equates to about £14,000 in today’s money. Some lucky rich person managed to buy this piece of history for £600,000, but at least it means its legacy can remain for decades to come.

There was also word that the boss of Bentley, Wolfgang Durheimer, was showing customers a private pre-show to a new Bentley model. Now that’s some tasty news!
