The Audi R8 is the best car I've ever owned, and I've owned a lot of cars, including a Porsche 911. I really thought that nothing could top the Porsche 911 but the R8 really excels on every front. First of all, it looks better than any car I've ever seen. Like a space car that's come back from the future to embarrass all existing auto-mobiles, the R8 really does put most cars to shame.
It is not cheap. But when you open the door you're already treated to a few grands' worth of luxury. The amount of gadgets included make you think you're in something out of Star Trek and the leather upholstery. But when you actually drive the thing, you know that motoring has really reached new heights with this model.
It's not going to break the land-speed record, but for an all-round, comprehensive experience I really don't see how a car could get better than the Audi R8. If you've got a huge amount of money to spend on a car (like me) then I really can't recommend anything more strongly than this.
