The tiny Daihatsu Terios is a very reliable and great value off road vehicle, however on the road it struggles to perform despite the high positioned seating, which is a shame.

•    The Terios has surprisingly low co2 emissions for an off roader;
•    0 to 60 in over 16 seconds so the Daihatsu Terios is not one of the fastest cars in the world;
•    you may get around 36 mpg when in town;
•    The Daihatsu Terios has a top speed of 91 mph;
•    not the most comfortable of vehicles for long distance driving;
•    a tight squeeze for two adults in the back so really only enough room for two adults in the front and two children in the back on long journeys;
•    In the Daihatsu Terios legroom is poor but plenty of head height;
•    boot lacks space and if you want to carry a week’s shopping for the average family the seats have to be folded;
•    power steering comes as standard on the Terios;
•    electronic front mirrors and windows are fitted as standard.

The Daihatsu Terios may be a good choice for off road, however it is a little on the small side and its boot space is a letdown. However please check it out for yourself.
