Lovely

Hi, we own a Ford Kuga Titanium. When the Kuga came out a few years ago, our whole family loved it. It was exactly what we needed; something stylish, big but not as massive as a Range Rover. We signed up immediately, and when the day arrived for delivery, we were very happy. The Kuga is a big car, but it's not so big that you can't park or go in multi-stories. It's like the best of both worlds, as you can drive this thing anywhere but still have a four wheel drive seating position. Ford always makes good, reliable cars, and the Kuga is no exception. The interior feels chunky and very well made, while the exterior is tough but still very Ford. I actually love how the Kuga looks. The Kuga's engine is great, too.It feels responsive in most gears and you don't have to rag it to get the most out of it. Sure, there are a lot of competitors in this sector, but I can't fault our Kuga. It's never put a foot wrong in two years of ownership, so I can't really say anything else.

My new love - the Ford Kuga!

I bought a Ford Kuga Crossover just the other day and I'm still pretty mad about it so perhaps this review will be a bit biased. I personally think that this car is the best thing since sliced bread but I usually think that until the 'new car smell' dies down and I get to realise that it's not perfect. So perhaps I should have waited a week or two! The best thing for me is how the Kuga looks, I keep sneaking a peek out of my front window just to look at it gracing my driveway at the moment. It looks like a little beast. It wasn't cheap, of course, but even for the joy it's given me so far I think it's worth it! One thing I have noticed is that the wind noise is pretty bad. Which is surprising as it's otherwise really well built as far as I can tell. Other than that I'm still madly in love (lust?) with it and I can't find a bad word to say about it.

Kuga Titanium - No good for short people but otherwise great

First let me get this warning out of the way. If you've got little legs then don't expect to be sitting up front in the Ford Kuga Titanium. My kids, who aren't that little, can't sit up front or they get dead legs. My wife's feet only just touch the floor. That's a bit of a strange design but anyway that's pretty much the only problem we've found with it so far. The Ford Kuga is sort of marketed as a bit of an off roader but I've done the odd bit of off roading, well over some sand and a very muddy sports ground with some inclinced bits at the edge, and it didn't feel all that confident. It seemed fine and everything, just not like it had all that much left to give. That really isn't the reason we bought it though so it doesn't represent an actual problem for us. What we were mainly after was space, comfort, a nice smooth and quiet ride, and decent miles per gallon, and the Kuga Titanium just delivers all that. We haven't been upset at all. I think it gets about 50 or so mpg on motorways which is fine by us, especially good for a 2 litre. We were a bit miffed that there wasn't a smaller engine size available but hey ho, this one is fine for us. Actually space wise... although it's good for those sat in the car, we have sometimes found that the boot leaves something to be desired. It's a little bit pokey when you're trying to get luggage for a family of five in there and you've got a flight to catch! When we're not flying to our hols then we're pulling a (pretty big) caravan, and it manages that without any grumbles. Lots of clever things inside the Kuga too. Electric points in the back are a really clever feature, but then not exactly rocket science so you wonder why other cars don't have them. It certainly lets the kids keep their phones and game boxes or whatever they've got charged up, although that can be a bit annoying when they get car sick after looking at them for ages. One thing I'd say, more of a warning about options than anything wrong with the car. I'd suggest not getting the tinted rear windows, which I did get, because it does really reduce your visibility when it's dark, so it's actually quite hard to park. Do that, and get a block of wood for short people to put their feet on, and it'll be fine :)

Take One Kuga Home Today!

Comfortable compact SUV with a afforadable price compared to other compeititors, like X3, Tiguan and Audi Q5. It has got a neat styling both inside and out, extremely enjoyable to drive even for the long dstance trip. Its diesel engine is economical so it helps with costs (on top of our current economic situation). It is one of the safest car on the road. This car scored a full five points in its Euro NCAP crash test... http://www.euroncap.com/tests/ford_kuga_2008/322.aspx So definitely the best car I have ever owned.
