Me and my husband were looking for a new car as we had a young son and another baby on the way. It would be for me to use on a daily basis. After looking at a Corsa and a Fiesta we found they were too small and overpriced for our needs. This was the first ever car we had brought brand new so we spent quite some time looking into and researching what to get. We test drove the Hyundai i20 and really liked it, but ruled it out as it was around the same size as the Corsa. The salesman at the dealership recommended the i30 as it was bigger than the i20. There was more leg room in the front and back and the boot was a lot larger than all the other cars we had looked at. We went for the 1.4 Comfort 5dr.
We have now owned the car for 2 years and we are still really enjoying owning it. Firstly we haven’t had one problem with it so far. I am mainly doing city miles at the moment and are getting around 40mpg. And when I do venture on the motorway the Hyundai doesn’t let me down, I put my foot down and the car is off it has no problem at 70mph and overtakes well. Tax is £30 for the year and the insurance is relatively cheap as well.
There are plenty of little storage compartments and I can easily get a buggy in the boot. I would highly recommend this car for a family, it’s easy to drive, has bags of space and very reliable.
