The Nissan Almera is a really sensible option for anyone who wants a good, reliable drive. It won't turn heads but personally I'm really proud of mine as it was only my second car and I feel I made a really good choice in selecting it. Mine's only a 1.5 but it has a real kick to it and can accelerate quickly when needed. It's a big lad but there's no difficulty with parking or getting around the city. The servicing on the Nissan Almera is very cheap and the fuel economy is better than you might think. It corners really nicely (thanks to the suspension I think) and it's quite comfortable. The main thing is the reliability though. Is the Almera the most reliable car in the world? Genuine question. I think I could probably leave the engine running for years without a problem, or drive it off a cliff and still manage to get it across the channel. I'll never buy anything other than a Nissan again, I don't think. There is very little wrong with this car. The engine is perhaps a little slow for some people but I'm really not complaining. A worthy investment.
