The Nissan Primera is just about everything you would expect from our Japanese friends - practicality, efficiency, roominess, reasonable performance, but it also lacks that top quality that perhaps more importance is given to over here in Europe.
My Nissan Primera certainly turns heads and it might be fair to say that it looks better than it feels. Inside the cabin is a little bit plasticy and it's not altogether that comfortable. However, it is surprisingly spacious and all-round practical, except perhaps in the boot, which is a very restrictive shape.
Fuel economy is good, though, and the car seems to be completely reliable, although I've not had it that long. Overall, the Nissan Primera is a great all-round family car. I almost wish I'd spent a little more and got something a little more reassuringly meaty, but I can't find any serious complaints about this car.
