I'm not an extremely rich man, but I think money is for spending, and that's why I bought a Porsche 911. I don't know a thing about cars but I've always drooled over this one for some reason. The payment plan seemed pretty good so I thought 'why not'?
Sure I've woken up sweating in the middle of the night a few times (it really wasn't cheap) but I do own the best sports car in the universe. The Porsche 911 is beautifully built, it looks beautiful inside and out, it drives beautifully, the engine is beautifully powerful... it even sounds beautiful. I've even kitted it out with some 17-inch alloys for a few hundred quid just to make myself look even more cool.
Honestly, put some classic 70s rock on the stereo, get yourself onto a quiet motorway and cruise along as if you're the kind of the road. Or sneak around the shopping district, revving the engine occasionally and watch the heads turn. There are some things that are worth more than a mountain of crippling debt. A Porsche is one of them.
I never thought I would drive one even though I love Porsches, until my wife got me a driving experience program for my birthday.
I was absolutely thrilled to lay my hands on the 911 Carrera! The looks of it, is so classic and typical of Porsche designs.
The engine was (even though its slight older) very responsive. It gave me the extra power that the Cayman S did not managed to give me.
It was a fun filled day, I could see myself driving it again when I have the spare cash to buy one... sorry Cayman. lol..
