I lost my job a few years ago and needed to sell the Range Rover and seriously downgrade - and the cheapest option was a Proton Satria Neo. It looked half decent and as Proton owns Lotus, I thought it'd be fine. Oh how wrong I was. The 6 months I spent with the Proton Satria Neo were the worst motoring memories I have, It drives like someone has smeared grease on each of the tyres, it handles about as well as a kiddies tyke car and it is about as exhilarating as cheese.
I'm sorry if you came to this review to find some good positive thoughts but there weren't any for me. It's cheap, yes, but my good it's awful.
If it was me again, I'd never ever sign on the dotted line.
