The Suzuki Jimny is a great little urban run-around that also has some off road practicality. However, it is not suitable for large families and even small ones may struggle with limited space in the back. The car is most suited for 2 adults. This may come as a surprise but the Suzuki Jimny was actually introduced way back in 1970 and the first generation lasted until 1981. The 2nd generation of Suzuki Jimny spanned from 1981 to 1994 and came in a 2Dr SUV or Convertible. The most recent Suzuki Jimny was introduced in 1998 and has had a number of facelifts along the way. • the Suzuki Jimny has a top speed of 87 MPH which shows it's not the fastest of cars, but it is economical, cheap on tax & insurance; • the Jimny suffers a little from body roll when cornering; • the ground clearance is high which is great for riding over fields; • the Suzuki Jimny has a very basic interior but nevertheless it's cheap and cheerful; • wind and road noise is limited when travelling on the motorway; • the Suzuki Jimny soft top lacks good lumbar support in the seating; • boot space is limited with just enough room for a couple of small shopping bags; • most Suzuki Jimny models come in a 1.3 or a 1.0 litre engine; • the special edition comes fitted with front fog lamps, twin airbags in the front and ABS. The Suzuki Jimny has great visibility and comes with a good driving position. The car is ideal for nipping around the countryside and is good value for money. We hope you find your ideal Suzuki Jimny on netcars.co.uk
