Hi, I have a Toyota Supra and it's been in the family for about 8 years. My dad handed it down to me when I was 24 and I've had it ever since. It's always been a good car, but since I've owned it, I've just transformed it.
It's been lowered, chipped and remapped. This thing literally flys! I can't tell you how quick it is. It may not be the most delicate car in the world, but it is a lot of fun.
It's the twin-turbo engine that surprises the most. It's a very usable engine with lots of tuning potental. I love it and would highly recommend on to anybody.
For anyone under the age of 28, you will best know the Toyota Supra from the Need for Speed: Underground PlayStation game in the late 1990s, but despite the cosign, it's so much more than just a pinup.
With a 3.0-litre turbocharged engine, the Supra is quick - even by modern standards. It still demands respect on the road and, not that I'm admitting to racing, it will destroy most cars off the line. It's a performance car that makes no apologises for what it is.
The only real issue comes with running the damn thing. Fuel economy is just non-existant and tax and insurance can be a real killer every year, but to be honest, if you buy a car like this and expect low running costs, you're an idiot.
It's all about how the Supra drives; it asks for more, asks for more power and asks for your concentration.
A great car and one that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
