My husband bought this Vauxhall Cavalier very cheap and we're going through rough times and everything but when I looked at it I just though "what is that?" It looked like it would go alright and everything but it just looks so old! Like an old hearse or something. We used to have an Audi so it's a bit of a step down. However it's really not such a bad old motor, it's comfortable and it drives really well. I don't think engines could have got much better in the last ten years or so because the Vauxhall Cavalier feels like a new car to drive. There are some problems though, as I expected, probably down to the age more than anything. There's rust under the wheel arches and the clutch feels a bit knackered. It's fairly cheap to run though which is really good considering our current situation. I feel a bit ashamed driving around in it to be honest, but that's my problem - it's a decent enough car.
